Tooltip

A wave of flame radiates outward from the caster, damaging all enemies caught within the blast for 212 Fire damage, and Dazing them for 50% reduced movement speed for 6 sec.

How it works

Each cast of Blast Wave costs 270 Mana. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown.

Blast Wave is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 212. It scales with 0.129 times spell power. Its area radius is 10 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 33. Its base value is -50. It applies the ensnared mechanic. Its area radius is 10 yards.

What it does

Blast Wave is a Fire spell with an instant cast, no range (it targets the caster), a 45 sec cooldown and effects that last 6 sec. When cast it deals Fire damage (base value 212) in a 10 yard radius and applies an aura with the ensnared mechanic in a 10 yard radius.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
