I fish when my girffriend calls me over the phone. She will detect when I am trying to play WoW, because apparently I am too much distracted, but fishing is boring enough to go undetectable by her!
Given the frequency and the length of her calls, I welcome the addition of a "10000" fish achievement.

I would suggest trying to get the Old Ironjaw (in Ironforge) and/or Old Crafty (in Orgrimmar) while trying to achieve this.
Note that you have to -loot- the fish to make it count, you can't just open the loot window and then close it again like you can when levelling fishing.
