1000 Valor Points

It's the new Cataclysm currency. Similar to Justice points. They are awarded for completing the daily heroic dungeon. They are also awarded for 10m and 25m raid boss encounters.

Let me be the first to ask. Where do you get Valor Points?

The idea for cata was for epics to once again be.... well, epic. Therefore expect to see a lot more people running around in blue gear, running heroics in blue gear and also starting initial raids in blue gear. Aside from the most hardcore raiders and raid guilds there's going to be a lot more about.

Comparing some of the stats from high level blues to epics... do you really need them if you're only going to be raiding "a couple of times a month".
