You get credit for it as of 3.0.2. I just got the 50 daily quest achievement yesterday.
Daily quests are quests are quests that are normally intended for gaining reputation with certain factions throughout the game, they can be found by looking for a blue "!" point above a NPC's head. These quests do not count for any "Loremaster" achievements such as Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms but do count for others like A Simple Re-Quest or The Bread Winner
A total of 25 daily quests can be done per day. so this achievement will take minimum of 8 days to complete
