Recommend Nazmir.
Avoid the temple areas, but else lumber is plentiful all over.
The dark colorscheme (and in some areas the lightning) makes the hatchet glow stand out.
Happy chopping!

Did a couple of different loops for this one which each has its pros and cons and of course make sure to reference Beace's comment for lumber per hour as well!
Note I'm coming from an alliance PoV so Kul'tiras is where I went. I avoided Mechagon as it was my current endeavor >.>
First loop was Northern Tiragarde Sound into the Western Edge of Drustvar and back into Southern Tiragarde and repeat (mainly just to see node population in general of the zones)
Pros:
-About 70ish lumber for the entire single loop (give or take a lot of nodes I'm sure I missed)
-So many herbs and mining nodes to also gather at the same time for dyes/mats for crafting! Ended up with a couple of hundred per each herb by the end and I was being sparse in gathering.
-Constantly moving into new zones if you're somebody like me who can't chill in a small loop for long without going crazy.
Cons:
-Very long and a bit time consuming. There's a solid downtime spot as you go over the mountains in Drustvar.
-Densely packed mobs near the lumber nodes in both zones and it got kinda annoying.
-Hard to see the nodes in general due to foliage even with the outlines on.Advice for this loop? Straight up just loop around northern Tiragarde. Hell you could probably find a small loop in there of 5-10 nodes between the mansion and the lumber yard and go to town. It seems like the most solid spot from my own grinding.
Second loop was just the outside of Stormsong.
Pros
-Equal amount of lumber if you also dive into the middle of the zone and cover it entirely in a single loop (~60-70)
-Easy to spot nodes, most trees are by their lonesome and aren't covered in bushes and other objects.
-Least dense mob population near nodes.Cons
-Had a couple of weird phasing spots that popped up with the war story.
-You will accidentally get flagged for PvP at least once if you aren't already on a PvP server or in warmode. whoops :)
-Nodes can be a bit far apart. There wasn't any really strong tight 5-10 node loop spots I found.
Harvesting wood on a Druid does not knock you out of travel form, and the unlock and progress is account wide. Farm all your wood on a Druid and unlock mounted harvesting for all chars! :D
