The wording on this achievement can be a bit misleading and in our attempts it wasn't super consistent. We believe that each player needs to get only one stack of the [spell=434579] debuff EACH TIME the boss casts [spell=434407], but we had some times where people got 2-4 stacks and the achievement stayed white so it may still have been a bit buggy when we did it. What definitely works (and what we did on our kill) was to have 1 debuff stack on every person every cast, so do that.

The easiest way to accomplish this is to have the entire raid stacked somewhat centrally, and then have both wave targets move to the left of the raid when they get picked as seen in this diagram (TY Caesar for the pic). The person who drops the right-shooting wave will either be hit by it immediately or walk into it as it spawns. The left-shooting wave target will walk left into theirs, and the entire raid will be hit by the right one. It's important the raid runs into the wave so you only get one stack. If you keep casting and let it push you, you'll get multiple. If you immune, blink or skip the wave in any way you won't get the debuff so you should avoid all these things.

If you're using Instance Achievement Tracker there will be a list and counter of people that did it right so you can tell if someone is messing up, or use the in-game tracker and if it goes red, someone missed it and you'll need to wipe. The tracked achievement should be white when the boss dies.

Did it today and most of the comment on this page seem to have been obsoleted by a recent change.
We spent multiple trys testing different strats until we find one that actually works:
- have the two targeted people in the "standard" formation (the one sending the wave towards the left on the left, the one sending the wave towards the right on the right) so they don’t get hit by the other’s wave
- have the two targeted people stand still, you don’t want them to ride either wave, just stand still
- have the rest of the raid be hit by a single wave

So we had: the person with the left wave far on the left, the person with the right wave a bit on the left but not too far, then the whole raid in the center of the room. Nobody rode the left wave, and the whole raid minus the two targeted people rode the right wave.

The "player list" window from IAT was not reliable, often saying that all was fine when it wasn’t. But the chat warning "FAILED" from IAT was reliable. But as usual, the most reliable info was the ingame tracking of the achievement: it’s red on pull, gets white if you handle the wave properly, then gets red again when the boss cast the second wave of the fight, then white again if you handle that wave properly, etc.

Corrosion stacks had no relevance whatsoever and we got the achievement despite having plenty of people with multiple stacks of it.

This achievement can be a bit tricky to accomplish because some information are missing during the fight :

- When [npc=224552] uses [spell=434407], each player has to be hit by the wave ONCE. The 2 players who put the waves on the floor are flagged automatically as valid, even if the debuff isn't showing.

Repeat this process each time the boss cast [spell=434407] and you are done. The in game tracker for the achievement works, and if you are doing thing correctly, it should appear as white.
