Death from Above

For those who never went to Firelands and want this achievement!
This achievement is really easy.

- Engage the boss
- She or He [!] goes up. Some Cinder Web Spiders dangling from roof to the mid ground.
- Kill ONE of them, After that u can jump on its web and go up
- Nuke boss until she/he comes down
-- If during this phase u fell down again and boss is up, again kill one of the dangling spiders and go up and nuke boss
- At final phase when boss goes to the ground try to only damage her and not the adds [[DRONES]] avoid splash or AoE damages,

Bang, you've got yourself the achievement.

The drones come out downstairs, and only go up top if they aren't killed before their energy runs out. They then drain some from Beth'tilac, who casts smoldering devastation (forcing everyone upstairs to come down) when her energy runs out.

So, it seems to follow that the strat would be to get the drone low downstairs, but not kill it. Keeping it from consuming spiderlings would continue to be very important. It didn't seem like drone1 ran out of energy before smoldering devastation1, so you'll probably have to have a guy tanking during the fiery rain aoe.

Then whenever a drone runs out of energy it goes upstairs, and whichever dps you have up there kill it quickly. If I'm imagining this correctly, there will be at least 1 alive during the final burn phase; your tanks will have to do some double-swapping and/or double-tanking, and your heals will be more stressed, and your dps will need to end the fight more quickly.

I haven't attempted this achieve, but it seems perfectly doable, if I'm imagining it correctly.

Update: did this achievement this week, and yeah that's pretty much how it goes. Not a difficult achievement, assuming everyone knows the fight.

I noticed it hasn't been said specifically here so i thought i'd clarify.

If you're trying this achievement with a group of decently geared people, you can COMPLETELY ignore the drones. Have them offtanked by a decently geared tank, keep 1 healer and 2 ranged downstairs to handle the spinners/spiderlings and send everyone else up the top. When she landed for us after the 3rd devastation, she was at 30% hp, then we just popped hero and burnt her for our achievement.
