Enchantment II

Two methods:

1) Noted by Xhanon, you can shatter Large Prismatic Shard into Small Prismatic Shard and then reform them back into Large Prismatic Shard. Nothing wrong with this method at all, but you'll be selling the shards back at the same price you bought them at - no profit. (There's nothing else you can do with prismatic shards by themselves that could be sold for a profit, either.)

2) Alternatively, you can make a little profit. If you're going to go through the effort, might as well.

At current market prices, a cheap and profitable way to earn this achievement is by chain shattering Eternal Crystal or Sha Crystal into dust, then using the dust to craft enchants. The shatters count toward the achievement. (Prices will fluctuate, this may not always be the cheapest or most profitable method.)

The end result is 7 crafts per 1 Eternal Crystal, or 13.5 crafts per 1 Sha Crystal. If you’re looking for the more cost-effective of the two, buy Sha Crystals if they’re less than 2x the Eternal Crystal price, otherwise buy Eternal Crystals.

Eternal Crystal Shattering

Shatter 1xEternal Crystal into 3xSacred Shard into 9xSoul Dust, then use the soul dust to craft 3 of any of the enchants below (cost: 3xSoul Dust ea).

With this method, one Eternal Crystal yields 7 crafts (4 shatters + 3 enchants from the dust). To achieve 2,000 crafts for Enchantment IV, you'll need 287x Eternal Crystal. At current prices, you don't even need to make enchants to make a profit, just selling the dust is profitable.

Sha Crystal Shattering

Very similar to the above, chaining shatters and using the dust to craft enchants.

Shatter 1xSha Crystal into 2xEthereal Shard into 6xMysterious Essence into 18xSpirit Dust, then use Spirit Dust to craft Mastery, [spell=104407], or Mighty Versatility (cost 4x Spirit Dust ea)

With this method, one Sha Crystal yields 13.5 crafts (9 shatters + (18/4 = 4.5 enchants)). To achieve 2,000 crafts for Enchantment IV, you'll need 149x Eternal Crystal.

As of PTR build 50587 these methods work.

I'm just burning off Shadowlands mats to raise their value before vendoring. For this one, I got it and the leatherworking one by making Enchanted Heavy Callous Hide. (I built up a huge supply of SL mats from doing missions that reward bags of mats. The new TWW feature that lets us exchange them easily between servers and factions makes it trivial to stack it on an alt and merge everything from various alts.)
