not seen this mentioned, but what i did as a feral druid was to stand around for a couple minutes till i had 20-30 shades attacking me, then usd dash to run away, kited them all over 1 rune and got credit for 19 all at once

If a shade is going to get past the runes, you can kill it and still get credit for the achievement
You can mount while doing this achievement. Mounting with a 100% speed mount allows you to run faster than the spawns themselves, which makes kiting them into the runes trivial.
