Easiest way to do this achievement.
First of all, this is only for alliance characters! If you are Horde, you must find your own way to get the achievement.
In Stormwind is a great place to get credit for the Grand Master Pet Battler, called The Mage Quarter. Everywhere are squirrels that are level 1 and can be killed easily.
All you need is:
- Battle Pet that can oneshot a level 1 pet to make things go fasters.
- Some time.

There are around 10 squirrels around the tower and in the roads. Every time you click on a squirrel, you onshot it and complete the battle takes around 30 seconds.
10 squirrels are killed in around 3-4 minutes. The Spawn time of a squirrel in Stormwind is probably 2-3 minutes (sometimes faster, sometimes it takes very long). In 1 hour I killed around 160 rats (this means I have 160 battles won AND i got credit). It can take around 6-7 hours to kill 1000 squirrels and get the achievement.

If you want the achievement [Legandary Pet Battler], you just do the same tactic. It goes fast and in no time you got it.

Been some time and Old Town is now the place for that! 79/64. Enough low level pets and quick respawn time.
