I played till 1,004,000 score to see if there's any surprises for reaching 1,000,000 score. This is what happens:

The yellow text that pops up when you make a match is your current score.

It took me a bit to fully understand how to get this achievement, so I want to make this perfectly clear. Every time you make a match by moving tiles you get points for matching those tiles. Every time you do this, the amount you get increases. When the game makes matches by itself, this also increases the score you get for matching tiles. You want to keep playing until you are given 250k for a single tile match.
