In Plain Sight

Since it has not yet been posted, using data from [object=237751] and other comments from this page, I've created the following waypoints. Paste this in your chatbox if multi-lines are supported, or simply create a macro and then use it. Requires TomTom or similar addon.


/way 45.8, 27.2 In Plain Sight (1/4) - Top of Crane
/way 48.2, 27.0 In Plain Sight (2/4) - Atop Middle Tower
/way 45.2, 25.2 In Plain Sight (3/4) - Atop Broken Track
/way 49.0, 24.0 In Plain Sight (4/4) - Top of Crane


apparently it has 3 possible spawn points:

on top of a crane at 45,27 (where I found it)

atop the tower in the middle of the pit at 48,27

or atop a section of broken track at one end of the track at 45,25

the crane and tower both require some kind of flight/glider mechanic (or use the iron cannons to shoot you up there- but aim well lest you land in a pack of mobs)

but the track spot can be mount jumped from the other broken edge of the track just west and slightly higher than it if you clear mobs near there and make a good running jump.

if the book is not there, you can be potentially fooled by a 'fake' book being there that is actually one of the missives that you can burn for credit towards the assault on the pit daily.... if you are on the quest daily tho, you will see the glowie highlight over the book to know its not the acheevo one- the acheevo one does not glow and has a little uniquely styled tooltip when you hover over it that says Iron Horde Attack Plans!

It will despawn after roughly three minutes of the first person to click on it... so if you are in a group, or care for nearby players to get it too, wait for them to get there with you :3
