It took me 2 hours to complete the achievement.
I first tried Shadowmoon and Talador who had next to no nodes, so moved onto Nagrand. I particularly found that the South-West quadrant (Oshu'gun area) and North (between the Mok'Gol Watchpost and below The Ring of Blood) had more nodes - not too disimiliar in density to getting lumber from Terokkar Forest in Outland.

Something must be off - there is so little lumber here. Very different from all other areas.
