"Storm" peaks... yeah right. UNstormed peaks should be the name.... where the hell all that snow that is on the ground came from? not from the sky for sure, because I haven't seen a single snowflake in days!

If you're going for this achievement but it's not snowing, and you've done most or all of the quests in this zone and you may be phased in most or all areas of the zone, as I am, here's where I found something to battle and catch. 27.77, 74.47 on the edge of Frosthold. I targeted mountain skunk and arctic hare critters that were non battle pets and killed them, and within 2 min, a spider battle pet appeared at the above coordinates next to pine trees. Happy hunting!
Finally found a battle pet in Storm Peaks at 29,75. It was a Mountain Skunk. I am not sure why the battle pets in this zone are so sparse, maybe this is due to 1/3 of the possible spawns being weather-dependent. Had 2 pet battles despawn on me once I got close, so it could also be a phasing issue.
