Oathguard

This achievement is part of a series of achievements obtained from collecting [currency=789]s. There are two items that allow you to obtain this currency, as outlined below:

[item=102467] - Obtained from [npc=73307] for 1000 [currency=777]

• 
  
• This item grants a 1 hour debuff that CANNOT be cancelled unless you a) Die or b) Leave the Timeless Isle.
  
• 
  
• The debuff allows you to kill members of both your own AND the the opposite faction while on the Timeless Isle, and collect [currency=789].
• 
  
• With this debuff, you are hostile to your own faction, the opposite faction, celestial court guards, and flight masters (including your own). As such they can all attack you.
• 
  
• Activating this item maintains your current form and race, but makes you translucent and red in colour.
• 
  
• When used, this item does damage to you equal to 90% of you maximum health. It does NOT change your maximum health - it just means you have to heal up the initial damage taken. This also means that if you are below 90% health, it will instantly kill you.
• 
  
• This item can only be used on the Timeless Isle.
• 
  
• Only killing blows grant [currency=789]s.
• 
  
• [currency=789]s are granted only when killing players level 90 and up.
• 
  
• The item has a 1 hour cooldown.
• 
  
• You do not gain or lose any reputation while the debuff is active.
• 
  
• Targets killed while the [item=102467] debuff is active gain the [spell=149624] debuff, preventing anyone with [item=102467] debuff or [item=102463] buff from getting a [currency=789] from killing them for 10 minutes.
• 
  
• This debuff does not stack with the buff from [item=102463], and whichever of these items is used later will overwrite the other.

[item=102463] - Obtained from [npc=73307] for 100 [currency=777]

• 
  
• This item grants a 10 minute buff that CAN be cancelled.
• 
  
• With this buff, you will be able to obtain [currency=789] when killing members of the opposite faction ONLY.
• 
  
• The buff is lost upon death.
• 
  
• Activating this item changes your appearance to that of an Ordon Firewatcher, and makes you translucent and red in colour.
• 
  
• This item can be used anywhere in the world, including raid and dungeon instances, and in battlegrounds.
• 
  
• Only killing blows grant [currency=789]s.
• 
  
• [currency=789]s are granted only when killing players level 90 and up.
• 
  
• The item has a 10 minute cooldown.
• 
  
• Logging out will freeze the duration of the buff with it's current duration, but the cooldown on the item will continue to countdown while logged out.
• 
  
• The item can be used while mounted, without dismounting you.
• 
  
• Targets usually can be killed repeatedly, as the [spell=149624] debuff is only applied inconsistently, and not on every kill. In many instances you can obtain a [currency=789] on multiple kills of the same person.
• 
  
• This buff does not stack with the debuff from [item=102467], and whichever of these items is used later will overwrite the other.

Since back in the day there used to be a video/comment or whatever pointing to Valley and after me and my friend's experiment in Highmountain taking a bit longer than we remember we ventured on to Valley of the Eternal Blossoms to check if the old place works.
So here's how it works:

2. Have a friend of the opposite faction
3. 
   
4. Use the item and kill your friend close to Shrine of Two moons
5. 
   
6. If your friend's alliance - he will have a spirit healer @ 39, 31.6 / If your friend's horde the spirit healer will be at 59 , 34.5
7. 
   
8. Your friend should use this macro and basically spam it
   /tar Spirit Healer
/run RepopMe() RetrieveCorpse()
/run RepopMe() AcceptResurrect() AcceptXPLoss()
   
9. 
   
10. You spam one easy damaging spell like moonfire at range
11. 
    
12. Rinse and repeat until you get what u need as many times as u need and then swap do whatever.

I found great success using this method with my friend compared to the one from Highmountain. This one would net me about 500 in approximately half an hour or so.

1)Ligit) Keep staying alive in BG and get a killing blow can be satisfying while you do BG achievements :-)

2)Cheese it... but boring) Killing a friend horde alt (90-100lvl) near a graveyard.
