To get this achievement, go to the temple of the white tiger and talk to Trial Master Rotun. (For alliance, you can get the breadcrumb quest from Taijing The Cyclone ) You will "queue" for proving grounds that will be instant because its a one person only instance. You choose which "Proving session" (tank/heals/dps) you want to do once inside by talking to Trial Master Rotun, not when you queue. You have to complete bronze before silver becomes available. Once inside all your gear is scaled down to ilvl463 gear, but you will have all 8 raid buffs applied at all times. There is an arcane reforger, a repair vendor and a warlock soulwell available inside.

For healers, you must heal a party of 4 pandaren, who all have different abilities. They will "party" with you, and the interface looks exactly like it does when partying with humans. I can confirm that healbot functions as normal in the instance for those that use it.

A couple important notes:

  • You cannot drink inbetween waves, even if you finish early. So its important to conserve mana early on for later.

  • Health and mana are brought to full and all CD's reset when you start a session

  • If anyone dies you fail. The DPS wont continue to DPS, it will just reset.

  • Surprisingly the mage will use time warp

  • The tank doesn't seem to have any particular survival mechanisms

  • The rogue and mage will interrupt spell casts often

  • Holy priests, the tank seems to be allergic to lightwells lightsprings and will slowly gravitate away from them.

For Silver there is 8 waves of illusions, each progressively harder.

All the same illusions as bronze will show up, with some new ones. As a holy priest I actually found this one to be easier than bronze because there is much less AoE mobs (hive-singers) than bronze.

One of the new mobs, illusionary aqualyte, will cast a debuff on anyone that has the visual of a water bubble. If its not dispelled, it detonates and does decent damage and knocks everyone back. It is definitely worth it to dispell it. (Interestingly, if you dont dispell it, one of the NPC's will chastise you)

The second new mob, flamecallers, will throw fireballs that leave a big "dont stand in me" spots of fire at random places on the ground. They are pretty easy to avoid. However they will also attack random party members with pyroblast that easily take out 1/3rd of their health. Luckily the rogue and mage will usually interrupt their fireball cast but an unlucky pyroblast in a stressful situation will end you.

Overall, the difficulty seemed to plateau, it started pretty much as difficult as it ended in my opinion. Very doable.
