The Prestige

This achievement is granted on reaching Prestige level 2 in the new PvP system in Legion - this means you must Prestige once, then grind up 50 Honor ranks again to obtain this achievement.

Through this system you work your way to Honor Level 50, unlocking talents on the way. Once reaching Honor Level 50, you can "Prestige", unlocking cosmetic rewards by doing so. Thereafter you earn Honor to progress through 50 more levels (your talents remain unlocked permanently) and acquiring more Prestige levels.

Increased Prestige will yield more rewards the more you do it (mounts, Artifact appearances, Toys, etc.). The Prestige rewards do not require any particular rating in Arenas/Rated Battlegrounds - they can be obtained just by grinding honor to over time.

Attaining this achievement unlocks an colour variation for your War-torn Artifact Weapon Appearance.

The Prestige is the first of 4 achievements that unlock your War-Torn Artifact Appearance and various tints for it. The complete list is below:

As of 3/12/2021 Shadowlands this achievement is still in the game and it awards 10 achievement points. The Prestige system has been removed from the game at the end of Legion (if i am not mistaken) and it has been over 3 years since this achievement became impossible to complete. As an achievement hunter who sadly didn't play that much during Legion this drives me nuts, I cannot believe that a huge company like blizzard doesn't find 1 employee to go through all the achievement and check if there are any "impossible" ones to remove from the game. Not to be overly dramatic or toxic but having an achievement that is impossible for 3 years, 2 expansions is a joke to me considering how big Blizzard is and the developer team working on World of Warcraft. Please report this as much as you can so we can get their attention somehow. I am sure there are other achievements like this in the game but since i have them i am not aware of them.

Edit: As of 9.1 this achievement has finally been removed from the game (yes it took them 3 years).

Sometime after launch (about a month in iirc) they changed it so that when you prestige you no longer lose access to your PvP talents. You also now auto-prestige once you hit rank 50 as opposed to needing to select the option to do so. Thus when you rank up you don't lose any honor that would have otherwise been lost from hitting the r50 cap and needing to actually select the prestige option.
