Blizzard and Netflix are making an animated Diablo series set in Sanctuary. Blizzard says Overwatch, Warcraft and its other universes are also headed for television, with details later.
Blizzard announced a partnership with Netflix at the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony: an animated Diablo series set in Sanctuary is in development. No cast, release window or episode count was given.
Blizzard framed the deal as a first step. It said it also wants to bring Overwatch, Warcraft and its other universes to television, with details to come later.
