Forever's world: 1,000+ new quests, new dungeons, and upgraded lighting and environments
World of Warcraft
Blizzard's page promises more than 1,000 new quests, new dungeons and hidden secrets across Azeroth, with improved lighting and upgraded environments. On stage Blizzard added new 10 and 20 player raids and a toggle between original and updated graphics.
Blizzard's official page frames Forever as an Azeroth anchored in WoW's first age that keeps growing through regular content patches. Its content headline: over 1,000 new quests, new dungeons, and new secrets hidden around all corners, for novice and veteran players alike. On stage Blizzard also announced new 10 and 20 player raids and a new battleground in the Darkspear Islands.
On presentation, the page describes improved lighting and upgraded environments that breathe new life into familiar locales and new lands, illustrated with in-engine footage of Ashenvale. The opening ceremony added that players can toggle between the original SD look and the updated HD graphics.
Blizzard says Forever is built to keep evolving after launch through regular content patches and updates, with new stories to level 60 and progression beyond that coming from new content rather than a higher cap.
