Hearthstone adds the Monk class in March 2027 and 2v2 brawls

A Chen Stormstout trailer introduced the Monk, a new Hearthstone class coming in March 2027. Blizzard also announced 2v2 brawls, so two players can compete together against another pair.
Blizzard closed Hearthstone's segment of the BlizzCon 2026 opening ceremony with a new animated trailer: Chen Stormstout and the celestials of Pandaria introduce the Monk, a new Hearthstone class arriving in March 2027.
The Monk is the second class added to Hearthstone since launch, after the Demon Hunter in 2020. Blizzard gave no card details during the ceremony; those are expected in the Hearthstone panels and in the run-up to the March release.
Blizzard also announced 2v2 brawls, a mode in which two players team up to compete against another pair, so friends can play matches together.
