World of Warcraft at BlizzCon 2026: Midnight: Eclipse, The Last Titan, and World of Warcraft: Forever announced

Blizzard has opened BlizzCon 2026 and is posting announcements and updates throughout the weekend. Reveals include the next major Midnight content update, Eclipse; the final chapter of the Worldsoul Saga, The Last Titan; a new Warcraft III: Reforged campaign, Forsaken Kingdom; and a new version of World of Warcraft called World of Warcraft: Forever.

Midnight: Eclipse brings players face-to-face with Xal'atath as she nears her objective, the Worldsoul. Blizzard states players will need to confront her and stop her from claiming victory. The events of Eclipse unfold in the worldcore and set up The Last Titan, the final chapter of the Worldsoul Saga. Blizzard says more about The Last Titan will be revealed early next year, after the events of Eclipse.

Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom is live now. Blizzard describes it as the first new campaign in Warcraft III: Reforged in more than two decades. It follows the fall of Lordaeron and its transformation into the Undercity, features Sylvanas Windrunner, and includes a prologue, three story chapters, and a neutral Forsaken Paladin hero unit. It is available on the Battle.net Shop and playable on the BlizzCon show floor.

World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4, with a beta beginning Thursday, September 17. Set after Forsaken Kingdom and before Molten Core, it lets players return to the original continents, adventure to level 60, and progress through new stories and updates. Access is included with a World of Warcraft Subscription or Game Time. Optional upgrade editions, including the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, and the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection, are available for pre-purchase on the Battle.net Shop.
