Burning Pandaren Spirit

You may be looking to 2-pet this trainer in 5.2 in order to level a third pet. There was a previously-posted strategy that's similar, but some aspects of doing this changed in 5.2, so I'm updating the strat accordingly.

1) You'll start with [npc=68659] with Crush, Sandstorm, and Deflection. The enemy starts with their Dragon.

Turn 1) Cast Crush; enemy will use Cyclone.
Turn 2) Cast Sandstorm. The enemy will Lift Off this turn, preventing you from hitting them. This turns the weather to Sandstorm, which largely mitigates Cyclone.
Turn 3) Cast Deflection. This will block the damage from Lift Off coming down.
Turn 4) Do nothing but cast Crush. Do not use Sandstorm or Deflection, even if the enemy casts Lift Off (which will only happen if you have an unusually large number of misses).

2) Enemy brings out their Elemental. He'll Conflagrate the first turn; use Deflection on the first turn to prevent this. On the second turn, use Sandstorm. From this point on, every time Sandstorm comes off cooldown, use Deflection again and you'll block his Conflagrate (note this means you will NOT be using Deflection on cooldown), and then use Sandstorm the turn after. Otherwise, Crush. You should become unbeatable at this point as Immolate cannot do damage through the Sandstorm, and with this timing, you'll prevent his Conflagrate damage against you, stopping all damage.

3) Enemy Flyer comes out; only one of its abilities can do damage through Sandstorm, and it only does a tiny amount of damage (note that this ability will be cast on turn 2). Bring out your low level pet and attack once (if Sandstorm is coming off cooldown with your Idol, wait the extra turn, use it, then do the swap). After your low level has attacked, swap in an Arcane pet to finish off the enemy flyer. Idol works too, but an Arcane pet can finish the fight much faster. There's plenty of options, but 2 to consider are [npc=54027] or [npc=68662]

1: Anubisath Idol (1,2,1)
2: Emerald Proto-Whelp (2,2,1)
3: Carry pet (should have 500HP to survive)

vs Crimson
- Crush > Stoneskin > Crush until Crimson dies

vs Pandaren Fire Spirit
- Deflection
- Switch to Carry pet > switch to Emerald Proto-Whelp
- Emerald Presence > Proto-Strike > Emerald Bite until Pandaren Fire Spirit dies

vs Glowy
- Emerald Presence > Emerald Bite until the end

- Notes: If, at any point in the fight, your Emerald Proto-Whelp dies, then switch to Anubisath Idol, cast and maintain Stoneskin, and chain cast Crush (and cast Deflection when Pandaren Fire Spirit has Conflagrate off cooldown).

I was a little frustrated trying to get the dragon to NOT come out first, so after a while I gave up and decided to see what would happen.

My lineup was:

Yes, the whelk solo'd the whole list, and was about 15 health from full. And that's after missing one dive on the last guy, and letting my shield run out at one point.

Absorb, Shell Shield, and Dive. Nothing more to it. Renew shell shield before it runs out, dive on cooldown (assuming you can line it up with the dragon's nuke), and absorb to fill in.

I haven't tried to repeat this one yet, but it should be a pretty easy go.
