*03/18/2016 edit* On a whim, I decided to try my Nitun/Lucky Yi/Ka'wi the Gorger team today, and I like it better than my original strat below. (Please note, I only tested it five times, so don't flame me if it doesn't work lol)

My team (I'm pretty sure the order is important, I think the speed debuff [petability=920] does is key to completing this fight in 4-5 rounds:

[npc=70451] (P/P) [petability=921], [petability=920], [petability=919]
[npc=69796] (P/P) [petability=921], [petability=919], [petability=364]
[npc=70452] (P/P) [petability=921], [petability=920], [petability=305]

Round 1: [npc=70451] uses [petability=920]
Round 2: [petability=919]
Round 3: [petability=921]
Round 4: [petability=921] OR if [npc=70451] died in Round 3, then [npc=69796] starts his [petability=921]
Round 5: [petability=921] continues.

Greyhoof dies in Round 4 or 5 in all of my test attempts. ***I have not tested this strat against Kafi yet, but this is my strat/team for Nitun/Lucky Yi/Ka'wi the Gorger.***

*After Greyhoof, I continued on to Skitterer Xi'a and this strat was equally effective for him. (Tested 3 times)*
=================================================================================================================

ORIGINAL STRAT:

[npc=69778] with [petability=901], [petability=392], [petability=204]
[npc=48609] with [petability=384], [petability=278], [petability=710]
Another mechanical with strong beast abilities for backup. I use [npc=55367] with [petability=777], [petability=334], [petability=647].

(Mechanicals do extra damage during [petability=204])

Start with [npc=69778]: 1st round [petability=392], 2nd round [petability=204], then [petability=901] until [npc=69778] dies.

Bring in [npc=48609], [petability=710] on cooldown, with [petability=384] in between.

Usually Greyhoof dies in 8-9 rounds, with only being able to use [petability=710] once.

Using this strategy since 5.3, I have not yet had to pull out [npc=55367].

This strategy also works very well against Kafi.

->Call Lightning (swap)
->Howl (swap)
->Ion Cannon
->Dead

Ion Cannon is from a Mechanical Yeti, Menagerie Custodian or Darkmoon Tonk. Mechanical Yetis are great since they also have Call Lightning. Howl is on several pets (notably foxes), however any double damage debuff that lasts at least 2 rounds will do.

Same strat works for Gorespine as well.

Pet battle tips:
-His abilities hit hard against critters and undead. If you can, try not to battle him with either of these.
-His abilities are weak against flying and humanoids.
-Mechanical pets are best for this fight.
