Kafi

3 Moths, believe it or not. Kafi hits so hard, so being naturally weak against flying creatures helped. In addition, I kept hitting him with Moth Dust to put him to sleep and then using Cocoon Strike to block an attack. I rarely get to my third moth.

ok so i have done the Beasts of fable quest for several days running now and found them quite easy. that was until 5.3 patch when all of a sudden they got alot stronger and they gained a 50%damage reduction buff. i know everyone on here states to use strong mechanical types for this one but honestly i have found another combo that works incredibly well. firstly you will need a pet that has the ability Flock i used my lvl 21 uncommon Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling although there will be other pets with this ability . use it to start the fight off then straight after it finishes swap in a pet with Demolish i used my lvl 25 rare Anubisath idol but if you have trouble finding a pet with that or it keeps missing as it only has 50% hit chance use a mechanical ability like Metal fist found on Clockwork gnome. it pretty much 2-3 shots him. or swap in a dragonkin with Call lightning works wonders goodluck

Another mechanical with strong beast abilities for backup. I use [npc=55367] with [petability=777], [petability=334], [petability=647].

(Mechanicals do extra damage during [petability=204])

Start with [npc=69778]: 1st round [petability=392], 2nd round [petability=204], then [petability=901] until [npc=69778] dies.

Bring in [npc=48609], [petability=710] on cooldown, with [petability=384] in between.

Usually Kafi dies in 8-9 rounds, with only being able to use [petability=710] once.

Using this strategy since 5.3, I have not yet had to pull out [npc=55367].

This strategy also works very well against Greyhoof.

Just a note to add: There are other pets with [petability=204]. Due to RNG with Kafi's [petability=376] possibly stunning your pet, I cannot recommend the Dragonkin that have the [petability=204] ability. If you don't have a [npc=69778], then [npc=15699] works well, too.
