-[npc=81431] - [pet-ability=429] | [pet-ability=312] | [pet-ability=802]
-Level Pet

vs. [npc=104560]

  • [pet-ability=802]

  • Swap to your Level Pet

  • Swap to your Teroclaw Hatchling

  • [pet-ability=429]

  • [pet-ability=312]

  • [pet-ability=429] until Rocklick has <926 HP left, then use [pet-ability=802]

vs. [npc=104559]

  • [pet-ability=802] round 2 or [pet-ability=429]

  • [pet-ability=312]

  • [pet-ability=429] until Slow Moe has <520 HP left, then use [pet-ability=802]

vs. [npc=104558]

  • [pet-ability=802] round 2 or [pet-ability=429]

  • [pet-ability=429]

  • [pet-ability=312]

  • [pet-ability=429] until Snot has <926 HP left, then use [pet-ability=802]

---

Edit.
Since 8.0 you can use Odrogg for powerleveling like Squirt (same exp and repeatable)
For this purpose you can finish the fight with [pet-ability=802], to heal [npc=81431] up.
No bandages needed this way!

Snail Fight! is randomly available in Highmountain (cave entrance at 42.58, 25.34, run down to the second level and Odrogg is at 44.57, 22.57) and only visible if you've unlocked World Quests.
Rewards will vary.

Odrogg will have the following team (all level 25 rare):

1. [npc=104560]
critter
[pet-ability=118]
[pet-ability=1073]
[pet-ability=1466]
2. [npc=104559]
critter
[pet-ability=449]
[pet-ability=310]
[pet-ability=376]
3. [npc=104558]
critter
[pet-ability=445]
[pet-ability=369]
[pet-ability=564]

Odrogg is part of Family Familiar

Aquatic: Aquatic Acquiescence

  • Got Crabs? Consider a full set of healy-crabs (1,2,1) with highest power in slot 1 (credit: Exe444 (here)).
    [pet-ability=310], [pet-ability=123] around 50% health, otherwise [pet-ability=356].

Beast: Best of the Beasts

  • Most Beasts are strong vs. Critters.
    - Consider a River Calf (1,2,2), [npc=93142] and/or [npc=87111] (1,2,1), or a cat (many attacks, just make sure to consider the heal from Rock's [pet-ability=1466] if using [pet-ability=538]). Also, spiders (search journal for Beasts with [pet-ability=339] and/or [pet-ability=382]).

Critter: Mousing Around
Lots of options.

  • Search your Critter supply for [pet-ability=377] - take one that either has [pet-ability=110] (ex. [npc=23258]) or [pet-ability=376] (ex. [npc=24753]). The elephants also have [pet-ability=375].

  • [npc=22943] would also work, either (2,1,1) or (2,1,2).

  • [npc=87257] (1,2,2) would also make a fair dent. Start with [pet-ability=163] to apply the debuff, then [pet-ability=1400] & [pet-ability=1016]. Cow won't do much vs. Slow Moe due to [pet-ability=310], consider swapping out for that part of fight.

  • Rabbit/Hare/Cottontail/Bunny - they all have [pet-ability=159] and can dodge, but their slot 1 attacks are meh vs. Critters.

Dragonkin: Dragons!
- Team: [npc=68661] (1,1,2) | [npc=68662] (1,1,1) | Back-up [npc=21055] (1,1,1) (alts)
People have also reported that [npc=68850] (2,2,2) (alts) and Chrominius (1,2,1) can "slow and steady" solo or almost solo this fight. Consider either of these if you do not have the listed pets (above).

Spoiler
vs. Rocklick
  • [pet-ability=429] until Rock starts [pet-ability=1466] (2-3)
  • [pet-ability=429] -> [pet-ability=168] -> [pet-ability=347]
  • Repeat the following until Rock is dead:
    [pet-ability=168] -> [pet-ability=347] -> 2x [pet-ability=429]

vs. Slow Moe (annoying/RNG: [pet-ability=376])
  • Continue with rotation until Untamed Hatchling dies:
    [pet-ability=168] -> [pet-ability=347] -> 2x [pet-ability=429]
  • Bring in Chrominius
  • Whittle HP with [pet-ability=110]
  • [pet-ability=802] if it will kill
  • [pet-ability=362] + [pet-ability=802] if it will kill

vs. Snot
  • Whittle HP with [pet-ability=110]
  • [pet-ability=802] if it will kill
  • [pet-ability=362] + [pet-ability=802] if it will kill
  • If Chrominius dies, bring in Dragonhawk Hatchling: Apply [pet-ability=501] -> [pet-ability=492] on CD -> [pet-ability=429] to fill

Elemental: Ragnaros, Watch and Learn
- Team: [npc=36871] (2,1,2) | [npc=69794] (1,2,1) | Back-up [npc=84915] (1,1,?)

Spoiler
vs. Rocklick
  • [pet-ability=202] until Rock starts [pet-ability=1466] (~2)
  • [pet-ability=362] + [pet-ability=159]
  • [pet-ability=202] until Rock dies (2-3)

vs. Slow Moe (annoying/RNG: [pet-ability=376])
  • Use this priority until death:
    [pet-ability=159] on CD > [pet-ability=362] on CD > [pet-ability=202] to fill

  • Bring in Razortooth
  • [pet-ability=803] + [pet-ability=423]
  • [pet-ability=538] when it'll kill
  • [pet-ability=803] to fill

vs. Snot
  • [pet-ability=803] + [pet-ability=423]
  • [pet-ability=538] when it'll kill
  • [pet-ability=803] to fill

If [npc=84915] is needed, [pet-ability=1359] if it will kill, otherwise [pet-ability=1357] -> [pet-ability=1359] to fill.

Flying: Flock Together

  • Use the [npc=81431] (1,2,1) strat outlined by Nyarella (here) with two backup Flying pets.

Humanoid: Murlocs, Harpies, and Wolvar, Oh My!

  • Any Humanoid with Beast attacks should be strong vs. this trio of Critters. Examples: [npc=68846] (1,1,1) (alt), [npc=73668] (2,1/2,?), [npc=73532] (2,2,?), [npc=62555] (2,2,2), [npc=71014] (1,2,1/2), [npc=76873] (2,1,2), etc.

  • Solo: [npc=71014] (1,2,2) can solo this fight (uncertain if this is impacted by breed), bring 2 Humanoids for back-up.
    Strategy: here | Credit: Bandeeto

  • Duo: [npc=73668] (2,1,?) | [npc=68846] (1,1,1) (alt) | 3rd Humanoid
Strategy: here | Credit: BReal85 - No moveset was outlined, so I added one to BReal's OP (here)

Magic: Master of Magic

  • If you're one of those to have obtained [npc=88830] (2,1,1) - it can solo(ish) this fight. See Borelia's strategy here & make sure you have Magic back-ups.

  • My Team: [npc=115141] (1,1,2) | [npc=61883] (2,1,2) | [npc=23231] (1,1,2)

  • Since Sanctum Cub is still relatively new, alt team:
    [npc=61883] (2,1,2) | [npc=61877] (2,2,1) | [npc=23231] (1,1,2)

There are many Magic Cats, some are promotional, some are recruit-a-friend, some are TCG, but if you have them, they're good here.
