Headstriker Sword

i find the 'of the bear' enchantment the most useful for any melee class that can use this, it give a decent amount of stamina and a good damage bonus. It looks pretty cool and will be one of the few weapons at that level that are good to use in consideration of damage and speed for a 2hander

I'm using this (of the monkey- 12agi, 12sta) on my 39 hunter until I can get some nice daggers to dual wield. It was a nice find :]

Ninja(plural) use anything at their disposal. Westerners are the only limitation.

There are two kinds of Japanese-themed sword models in this game. The curved ones, such as the Headstriker Sword, are the tradition style used by samurai. The straight-edged ones, such as Strike of the Hydra, are ninjato. This is the style that ninjas are typically portrayed using in anime and other media. Whether or not ninjato are historically accurate is another matter, but if you're going ninja, I'd pick up one of the straight blades.

A katana-like weapon named Headstriker. This has got to be a Highlander reference.

Pretty damned fast for a 2 hander. Great for leveling up weapon skill.

GREAT transmog item, I've gotten them fairly consistently in Dire Maul.

I just had one of these drop on burning legion horde side out of an uldaman chest, "of the tiger" suffix. It's probably worth holding on to these until MoP because they'll make great Monk weapons. Everyone might be playing Diablo 3 instead by then though haha.
