Its a craftable shield using the Large Obsidians that drop off mines in AQ20(One per run) and AQ40. May take several weeks to months to get enough large obsidians to get the shield, gloves, or body armor.

I had this crafted at 60 for my Paladin, was pretty useful in PvP, as not only is there the Melee mitigation, but it also has a way of annoying casters. Good for flag carrying in WSG for example.

Unfortunatly i vendored it during lvl to 70, so i'm not sure if the proc is subjected to the same reduction as other lvl 60 procs. Wishing i'd kept it now.

It doesn't proc as often as you may think, especially beyond level 60, I have that shield for a while for PVP, and I am a human warrior, the only place I used that shield a lot is while on leveling, while running Mana Tombs' last boss fight, you didn't make a mistake on selling it.

This is a great shield for giving to a level 60 tanking alt, with my protection paladin I can rely on it proc'ing and bringing a caster into my melee reach. It will proc off lightning shield and ice armor - some mobs have 'abilities' rather than spells and it won't work. Yes it suffers a 'effects are diminished on mobs higher than ...' but that's to be expected.

While having no stamina, the other effects of the shield are very nice. The resists are handy and if you are offtanking or pvping the silence is nice. Decent armor and block as well.

Slap a +7 Stam enchant on this baby and you are good to go for a while. Plus it just looks so darn cool.

As of current patch this is really worthless. PvP shield costs 13k honor and if you have 210 stone keeper shards you can exchange them for marks that give 2k honor and are bind to account.

Much less farming, you can just farm heroics while your faction controls WG and in addition get some triumphs.
To get the pattern for this you need to be revered with Cenarion Circle first, nowdays hardly anyone is that high with this faction unless you really grind reputation with them while leveling which isn't easy even as druid.

Simply difficulty of getting PvP Shield outweights everything that Jagged Obsidian Shield offers.

[item=18826] Horde V.

And those 2 look really epic.
