Living Steel

For alchemists wanting to transmute for your daily cooldown, you will need to:

1. 
   
2. Start with 120 Ghost Iron Ore (6 stacks)
3. 
   
4. Smelt (with a miner) Ghost Iron Bar x 60
5. 
   
6. Transmute: Trillium Bar x 6
7. 
   
8. and finally, Transmute: Living Steel
9.

To create a Living Steel without a cooldown, you will need to:

1. 
   
2. Start with 60 Ghost Iron Ore (3 stacks) and 3 Spirit of Harmony
3. 
   
4. Smelt (with a miner) Ghost Iron Bar x 30
5. 
   
6. Transmute: Trillium Bar x 3
7. 
   
8. and finally, Riddle of Steel
9. 
   

As of 5.0.3 beta patch, there are 2 ways to make Living Steel now:

- 1 day CD + 6 Trillium bars.
- 3 Trillium bars and 3 Spirit of Harmony and ignores the day CD - Riddle of Steel (Thanks Aliok)

This change is similar to tailoring and inscription for Imperial Silk and Darkmoon cards, respectively.

Edit - Do note, that in addition to being used for the usual crafting type mats, this will be required (and the only required material) for Living Steel Belt Buckle ([spell=122632]). This is a significant departure from WotLK and Cataclysm belt buckles, which only required raw materials, and no transmutes. This will possibly help keep the value of Living Steel healthy well into the expansion.
