Theese can be expensive on AH (on my server they go for 450-650g atm) but if you have [skill=165] you can get them easily by buying Savage Leather and converting into Heavy Savage Leather via [skill=165] and then convert thoose into Pristine Hide via [npc=50381] (For alliance) or [npc=50172] (For horde)
5x Savage Leather = 1x Heavy Savage Leather
10x Heavy Savage Leather = 1x Pristine Hide
which means that 50x Savage Leather = 1x Pristine Hide
Since Savage Leather goes for 6g each on my server that means I can get a Pristine Hide for 300g (50*6=300) and if I want resell them for 600g+ if I sell them at the right time which is the double price! :)
Edit: On some servers you can even buy Savage Leather Scraps and start from there. Not profitable on my server tho.
This is the Cataclysm version of Arctic Fur and will be used for many crafted items through out the expansion.
