Heh, I managed to loot this AND Stonesplinter Rags from the same mob :)
This took me about 140 kills off the scouts. I'm copying this over from another comment on the rags: You can get a nice loop going by starting near the cave, working clockwise around. Make sure you go down the north-east path in the area as 3-4 scouts are down there. Just kill everything, go through the tunnel at the back and by the time you complete the loot, things are respawning again. Good luck!
