Defending Champion
Item Level 1Details
Stats by Level
Before any upgrade, Defending Champion scales with the wearer from level 1 to level 30, and its item level always equals the wearer’s level.
4 upgrade tokens raise that cap: Weathered Heirloom Armor Casing to level 45, Battle-Hardened Heirloom Armor Casing to level 50, Eternal Heirloom Armor Casing to level 60 and Awakened Heirloom Armor Casing to level 70.
Fully upgraded, at level 70 it is item level 70 with +18 Stamina and +18 Versatility.

How the numbers add up
Stamina on Defending Champion rises from +3 at level 10 to +18 at level 70, a gain of 15. The largest rise between two listed levels is +4, from level 10 to level 20. With no upgrade token the Stamina stops at +8 at level 30, so the tokens account for the last 10 points.
The level cap starts at 30. The 4 upgrade tokens lift it by 15, 5, 10 and 10 levels in turn, to a final cap of 70, which is 40 levels above the base cap.
Of the 22 differently named trinket heirlooms, 7 list Stamina and 5 list Versatility among their stat types.
