• Location: Run up the left side of a lava flow around 70.6, 50.6 in Frostfire Ridge. For Alliance, take the road by southwest Gorgrond to Frostfire Ridge. Look for the opening in the large rockslide at 78.9, 56.0 to get through to the rest of the zone.

Get yourself to 70.6, 50.6 at the base of a lava flow. Then run up the left side to enter the area for the quest.

So there is a bar on your screen which fills up as you kill mobs in the area once that is full your quest is done... killing the lvl 100 elites fills the bar up alot quicker than the normal mobs..
there are some achievements you can get whilst doing this quest Slagnarok - kills 20 creatures after you slag them with gorne acid and That Was Entirely Unnecessary - punting 100 eggs that you find in the lava pools - there are usually mobs around these as well and the lava deals damage so be careful you dont die.... and i think a mount but will confirm later after doing more research
