Axe Shortage is a quest for level 10-70. It rewards 1 reward item, 1 reputation reward and 9,500 experience.
A mix-up with orders resulted in a severe shortage of new axes for our explorers. We have an immediate need for more Draconium Axes and are looking for all blacksmiths to pitch in. In return, I will impart new Blacksmithing Knowledge to you to assist in making even more epic pieces.

This quest unlocks at level 50 Blacksmithing. You can achieve this with either +6 from a tool and level 44 or raw level 50! Hope it helps.
Crafting a Draconium Great Axe does NOT count as progress for this quest.
You can just buy these on the Auction House for quest credit if the materials to make them are more expensive
