TheWoWDBThe remains can be difficult to see to recover. In the Hozen (monkey) camps, look for a sparkling corpse of a horde NPC : [npc=62606]. Turning on friendly name plates will not show you the location of these, but
/tar Vanguard
does work!
EDIT/Note: You CAN 'loot' the horde NPC's while mounted.

Description
These savages are... ruthless. They've dragged off our dying soldiers to be tormented in their camps. This is no way for our valiant brothers to die. I shall join them soon enough, {class}. Please, put my mind at ease and their bodies to rest. Find their remains at the camps surrounding the wreckage. Put them out of the reach of these creatures.
