~50-100 just in case you are unlucky, like i once was
Usually you will get a quest item after 20-30 herbs.- Changed, no need to fly anywere
Fly to the location where you see the quest mark- Use [spell=169106]
- After 5-100 herbs you will get a quest item
- Bring this item back to the [npc=92195] in Dalaran

You dont need to fly anywhere, you can mill herbs in Dalaran, until you got quest items. To learn Mass Mill Dreamleaf you have to mill Dreamleaf until you got [item=136912]. Bring that tiem to Pallin to turn in the quest and learn the skill.
