TheWoWDBI was not able to see any holiday stuff when i took the portal from org to UC (maybe cause I've done the Lorderon quest?)
but i took the orb up to silvermoon and back and suddenly i could see everything (and get the last pesky candy bucket!)

This works - but ONLY if you go to Zidormi (69.5, 62.8) first and ask her to show you what Tirisfal Glades looked like before the Battle for Lordaeron. THEN take the orb to Silvermoon, run up and around the ramp to take the orb back to UC (it may 'think' a bit before loading) and the UC you arrive in is the restored OLD UC with the Wickerman in the courtyard, working elevators, and... the candy bucket. Thanks for the tip, bleuwolfe! (I had tried earlier switching to either time via Zidormi and checking for working elevators but neither worked without this orb step.)
