TheWoWDBDon't make the same mistake I made: You have to use the knife before you loot the clefthoove. After that you get the quest-item and can then loot the mob.

If u are only here because u want the "Heavy Frostwolf Shroud" for Transmog than:
1. step is u need Leatherworking
2. step take the Quest Line from "Farseer Drek'Thar" (he is on a rock in the Camp and swirls stones)
3. step Buy "Draenor Leatherworking" in Ashran/Warspear & craft 1 Secret of Draenor Leatherworking
4. step went back to Bladespire Citadel and kill the Orc outside than will drop the "Tattered Frostwolf Shroud" (u need 1-10Kills) & take the Quest
5. step went to Gaoda Hidecleaver & take the QuestlineSpent Hours to figure out how it works, hope u need now not so mutch time!
Dont skin it before you use the quest item. Loot, use the knife on the mob and after you can still skin it.

After all that you've done for us, I would love to help you. Regrettably, I don't have the materials I would need to repair this perfectly. Use my knife to gather a few hides from the clefthoof that roam near the spire and find some sootweed pitch to properly cure them. Unfortunately, those miserable ogres have taken up residence in the only place that I know of sootweed to grow. You may be in for a fight {name}. Return to me if you can obtain these and I will gladly help you repair your cloak.
