The mojo potion never showed up in my bag for me. Entered the WQ area over and over but nothing. Quest must be bugged. I had some other mojo potion that I had bought from a vendor though, tried that but it didn't make the trolls visible.
Just to add to the comments below. The device to detect the trolls is now the Portable Revealing Occular, as of 8.3.0 anyway.
When I got to the area, I didn't have it in my bag and they didn't give me one when I flew in. But of course, I had stashed it in the bank already. I hearthed back to Snug Harbor, got it, came back and all was fine. It was consumed on use.
