I was unable to complete the WQ when doing advanced reverse, even after logging out. I tried doing normal and it completed then.
For the challenge version, it's all about saving vigor at the start so you have plenty at the end for the long climb up.
At the start jump once (not twice) then boost and then don't use any more vigor until the first climb upwards and then afterwards only the occasional upwards and boost to keep yourself in constant recharge. Start using vigor more freely once you begin the climb up when you fly through a ring in a tree and then make a left turn around 7 rings from the end.
