Requirements

Description

That snake monstrosity was vicious, with venom potent enough to burn through stone. We'll want to make sure we get our hands on the best gear we can before we think about taking it on. I've got some ideas about turning that venom to our own ends, though, so we can hit the ground running.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Item facts are the current retail client’s (ItemSparse); the specialisations for a pick-one item are the ones the Blizzard quest API lists; faction and currency text is the client’s own. Lowest listed price = the US commodity auction house now.

Quest chain

  1. 1Unnamed step
  2. 2Seasonal Refresher: Midnight
  3. 3Slithering Spoils
  4. 4Fangs for the Memories

Step 4 of 4. Chain order is read from the prerequisite data in the current retail client build, so it reflects what the game requires, not a curated storyline. A step the build does not name is kept in place, unnamed, so the sequence stays complete.

I've got good news and bad news. Bad is that all those curios we dug up together? Melted. Good news? I've found some very interesting new poisons to work with. But let me explain what happened...

Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.
