You need to kill Grand Warlock Nethekurse to get the Grand Warlock's Amulet from the boss and use it in the brazier right behind him (purple fire).
The boss next to the embers drops an amulet! Once he's defeated, stand next to the braziers and click on the amulet

Caza'rez is dying a coward's death. Grand Warlock Netherkurse placed a terrible curse upon him. Perhaps if you were to bring me one of the embers from his braziers, we could use it to counteract the magic before it's too late?
