If you abandon this quest, you can find it again by going out to the Twilight Highlands. The area is near Victor's Point and Kalecgos is there with the quest next to a fallen dragon. The quest marker should pop up on the world map as an orange exclamation point.
Side Note: Be sure to free Kalecgos and Alexstrasza before attacking Vexiona so the encounter runs properly.
So... be sure you're going to Kalecgos during the step that tells you to, not jumping off the cliff to head towards the quest marker.
I can't find a way back up. :P

When I first sensed these essences, I did not anticipate the importance of the role they would play. It is only a matter of time before all of the dragonflights are brought into the fold. Though I have reached out to the other Aspects, I have yet to hear from Alexstrasza.
