Inscribed Serpent Staff is a quest for level 10-35. It rewards 1 reward item.
As powerful it is, at some point you know you will outgrow this staff. When that time comes, one of the Inkmasters in the Arboretum would most likely be interested in taking it from you.

This quest serves as a way to trade in your staff when you no longer have any use for it, allowing you to reclaim half of the Scrolls of Wisdom used in its creation.
It is unlikely these quests will be all that popular (at least until a later patch) because these staves are Bind On Account, so they can be used for many alts before they would truly have no use besides this quest. However, you may want to recycle your staff of one kind (agi, int/spirit, int/hit) so you could make one of another kind at some point in time, which this will be very useful for.

This because so many people destroyed there Staff by mistake.
So now I don't get my 10 Scrolls back
I destroyed my staff with this quest, wish I read the quest before just going ahead and doing it....
That'll teach me to rush through quests v.v
I assumed it was an incentive for making a powerful weapon, I was like, "Oh thats cool, they want to reward my efforts by returning 10 scrolls, sure lets grab 10 scrolls"....
