TheWoWDBIf anyone is getting a bug on this one, where the climbing gear isn't spawned/clickable, I found a way around it. I had to complete the main ED quest line portion for Ysera/Eye, which takes place nearby, THEN complete the treasure world quest that was also on top of it that same week (which was equally buggy until I'd dealt with Ysera), THEN return the the climbing gear, which was finally active.
