For people who dont understand how the quest works, the Quest basically just counts all of the Anime you collect, you don't have to use them.
Just accept this as early as possible and then go and farm Anima for WQ and other stuff, it will just keep track, that's all, you wont need to give him 1k Anima.

For those who complete the Night Fae "Replenish the Reservoir" quest and can't find Sesselie to turn in... You have to complete the Anima Conductor rank 1 upgrade before Sesselie shows up, making it a mandatory upgrade to complete the renown weeklies for Night Fae.
This is a perfect example of how damned confusing Shadowlands is. It is NOT user friendly.

Description
Greetings, Maw Walker. The Tirna Achiad, Heart of Ardenweald, flourishes in our care, yet more anima is needed for our Sanctum. The cycle of rebirth, our purpose, must continue. To help our Queen, we must acquire more. Will you help us replenish the reservoir?
