Quest Log

Rock and Stone

Rock and Stone is a quest for level 10-70. It rewards 1 reward item, 2 reputation rewards and 9,500 experience.

Description

Earth elementals in the Dragon Isles are composed of various rocks and minerals. Our blacksmiths are thoroughly fascinated with the unique tools they are able to manufacture from smelting such materials. In fact, they appear to have smelted the last of their samples.

I would hate to ruin their fun. Would you mind replenishing the supply?

Best spot I've found for this is the relatively early quest locale in the Waking Shore (where you rescue the egg then hop on a dragon, it's right by the dragon you hop on to take you to the Ruby Life Pools) there's at least 15 non elite rock elementals and some elites as well, all drop the item.

Update, found a new spot also in the Waking Shore. Since the drop rate of the quest items was buffed in a previous patch this spot is now superior to my previous spot (I will leave the previous up as well it's still a great spot this is just slightly better) as the small rock elementals which previously hardly ever dropped them now drop them 100%

Decent spot is the green area outside Ruby Life Pools dungeon, /way The Waking Shores 61.5, 78.1, while waiting for your group to form (also flight path nearby). Many little mobs [npc=187075] with only 33k hp, each of which can drop it.
