Riverpaw Gnoll Bounty

Riverpaw Gnoll Bounty is an Alliance-only quest for level 1-30 in Elwynn Forest. It is step 29 of 30 in the Elwynn Forest storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Elwynn Forest at 24.2, 74.5. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

Gnolls, brutish creatures with no decent business in these lands, have been seen along the borders of Elwynn Forest. A large pack of them, many more than we can handle alone, have infested the woods south of the guard tower yonder. Another group has infested the areas near Stone Cairn Lake to the east.

The Stormwind Army will commend whomever helps kill them. Bring me their painted gnoll armbands as proof of your deed.

Mobs are near the river...28.0-90.0 and north to the road. Level 10's...its easy to get over taken by them...drop rate is a little slow.

The quest for Riverpaw Gnoll Bounty mention the the Riverpaws' have infested the areas near Stone Cairn Lake to the east. I like to point out they are to the North of Stone Carirn Lake.

The drop rate is pretty low. However you can group up with people that also have the quest to kill Hogger so it is not that bad.
