The "Stormwind portal to Darnassus" is in the docks, where the boat used to leave from. It drops you in the north of Darkshore, you then have to travel to the far south to finish the quest.

Description
So be it. You are more trustworthy an ally than any army Wrynn would have sent. We will reclaim Darkshore together, but first we must find Tyrande. Without her at the front, our forces will crumble against the Horde. She left for the Zoram Strand with a small force not long ago. If we move now, we may be able to find her before the Horde does.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Waning Hope
The kaldorei have been steadfast members of the Alliance since the end of the Third War. We have fought on distant shores and even on different worlds without protest. It is curious that in our moment of need, their resources are stretched too thin to lend so much as a single blade.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Hope
No... it is not possible. She would not have died like this! Search for signs of her departure along the strand. Personal effects. Weapons. Anything! Tyrande is still out there, <name>. We must not lose hope.
The storyline at a glance
In Darkest Night has 9 steps, from On Whispered Winds to A New Hope.
Maps its steps are placed on (steps per map): Ashenvale (3), Boralus (3), Stormwind City (2), Darkshore (1).
