Bathed in Light

Bathed in Light is an Alliance-only quest for level 7-30 in Ashenvale. It is step 6 of 50 in the Ashenvale, Alliance storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ashenvale at 26.8, 36.6. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

The concoction is not quite complete; it must be bathed within the Light of Elune before we can even think about giving it to the child.

There is a known location just to the west at Lake Falathim where the goddess's moonlight always touches down, day or night. Please, <name>, I implore you for the sake of Relara, take the concoction and bathe it in Elune's radiance.

But beware, strange things have befallen the area of the lake, and I fear that it is no longer safe to go there.

If you're "half blind", like me, then here's an explanation for those who don't use coords. If you stand with Keeper Heartwise and look towards the tilted remains of a nightelf lightwell - a bit further away, you will see the beams of light coming through the tree branches. Inside those beams is where you want to use the Unbathed Concoction.

/cheers

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • To Raene WolfrunnerAshenvale · Level 7-30

I would ask you to deliver the gem directly to Raene Wolfrunner. Last I heard, she was still in Astranaar to the southeast. At least the road between here and there is still relatively safe, so it should be a simple matter of following it there.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Squad of Your OwnAshenvale · Level 7-30

I certainly hope that you're here to help, <class>. The situation is as dire as it appears. To put it quite simply, we are losing! My girls and I are the last line of defense against the Horde, but we're not going to get out of this one without taking the fight to them. Up for a challenge?
