TheWoWDBIf you're trying to do this in Dragonflight and can't get your damage low enough to not one-shot the mobs, use the item on mobs being attacked by the guards on the road just outside the quest area.

Why keep adding annoying quests like this? The item has a cd, so you stand there wait for it to come off cooldown if you engage in more than 1 at a time.
I really want to thank the wow developer that put the 10 second cooldown on the snail wand. Give that person a promotion. Blizzard really play tested this. Like, you can feel how they managed to tweak it just right so it's just the most fun experience possible.
Also, you don't "stomp" the snails. You kill them. I was literally jumping on them like a fool.

Description
Careful where you step. You wouldn't want to accidentally squish a Mawsworn, would you? Of course you would! It's so fun! <Lady Moonberry giggles and points at the snails around her.> It's so much easier to squish Mawsworn after you've transformed them into stinky little snails. Here, take my wand and try it out on whatever you like. You may need to weaken them a bit first, but it'll work on almost anything!
